Towards Continuous Improvement: Research Insights from the NYC Men Teach Program

Fordham University’s Division of Educational Leadership, Administration, and Policy and Southern Westchester BOCES are co-sponsoring a Spring Speaker Series open to current and aspiring school and district leaders in the greater New York City area.

Shannon Waite, Ed.D., will be speaking on “Towards Continuous Improvement: Research Insights from the NYC Men Teach Program”

This session presents an overview of the NYC Men Teach Program and highlights a key tenant of the program which is to support male teachers of color through high-quality professional development. Findings and policy recommendations related to the research will also be presented.

All sessions to be held at Fordham’s Harrison Campus and will be followed by (6:00 – 6:30 pm) information about Fordhams’ masters and doctoral programs in educational leadership for those who are interested. All sessions include welcome remarks, presentation and Q&A. The series is a free service for educational leaders and alumni in the region. Come for the discussions, colleagueship, and opportunities.
