This workshop will enable participants to gain an introductory knowledge of technology-based methods used for vital functions in various aspects of the healthcare delivery system. Participants will gain a working knowledge of the cyberspace landscape and some insight into emerging global and local cyber threats. The workshop will provide an overview of healthcare data e.g., personal health data, electronic medical records, and hospital data collection and the issues pertaining to collection, storage and ethical use of such data.
