This workshop examines past and current political, legal, technological, and economic healthcare policy developments. The implementation of alternate methods of health services delivery and financing will be critically examined, along with the U.S. history of regulation of the healthcare industry with the goal of determining whether or not the overall impact has had a positive effect This course will provide familiarity with legal, ethical, and policy issues in the changing landscape of healthcare.
