Social Justice Forum Panel Discussion “Our Public Schools: Challenging Obstructions to Educational Excellence”

Systemic racism, sexism, income and gender inequality are among social constructs that impact the creation of a sound foundation for our educational system-a foundation that promotes learning, critical thinking and opportunities to all students.  Administrators, educators, school related personnel and families confront these obstructions to educational excellence at every educational level.  Our panel will describe how obstructions manifest to impact students and families and what has and can be done to address them.  Our public schools system should not fail our students.  Sponsored by the NYCLU.
